Teshape subscriptions are for coaches only. Trainees are always free. Plans are gated by client count and AI generation limits — all core tools are available on every tier, including Free.

Three tiers. The main lever is your maximum active client count. Everything else — workout builder, nutrition tools, messaging, analytics, documents, public profile — is available at every level.

Free
Free is permanent, not a trial. You get two active client slots and the full set of core tools. AI generation is a paid-tier feature, so Free is for hands-on, manual building — enough to build your library, test the onboarding flow with a couple of real clients, and get a feel for whether Teshape fits your workflow before upgrading.
Pro
Pro is the main tier. It uses a client-count slider rather than a fixed price — choose the rung that fits your roster and pay accordingly, from $29.99/mo. Available rungs: 10, 15, 30, 50, 75, and 100 clients. You can move up or down at any time; the change takes effect at the next billing cycle. Pro includes AI generation (100+/month).
Elite
Elite is a single flat price ($149/mo) for unlimitedactive clients and unlimited AI generation — everything in Pro, and you never pay more as your roster grows. It’s also where the multi-coach / studio surface lives: white-labeled apps under your own brand, multi-trainer organizations, and a custom domain for the web portal (these are on the roadmap). How billing works
Teshape uses two billing rails depending on where you subscribe. Both write to the same subscription state, so your tier is the same whether you subscribed on web or mobile.
- WebSubscriptions on the web dashboard are processed by Lemon Squeezy. You get a receipt email with a link to manage your subscription, cancel, or download invoices any time.
- MobileSubscriptions on iOS or Android go through Apple IAP or Google Play Billing (handled by RevenueCat). Manage them from your device’s native subscription settings.
Annual billing is available on both rails at a discount over monthly. Switching between annual and monthly takes effect at the end of your current period.
VAT and taxes. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record on web subscriptions, so local tax (EU VAT, etc.) is handled automatically. Apple and Google handle tax for mobile purchases.
Trainees are always free
Trainee accounts don’t have tiers, trials, or upgrade prompts. The app is completely free to use for trainees — forever. If your coach charges for their services, that arrangement is between you and the coach directly. Teshape doesn’t process or hold any trainee-to-coach payments.
